Cynthia Tesoro
Kapolei, Hawaii

Born in 1957 in Honolulu.  She has a MFA, 1989, and a BFA, 1982, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  In 1997 she served a residency with Michael Lucero at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.  Her work is in the collection of the State Foundation on culture and the Arts.

我一直想將鳳梨的具象與水泥的的物質本質結合在一起鳳梨切片和鳳梨皮的姿勢是要吸引人注意到內部空間。

I have been grafting the representation of the pineapple to the material identify of cement.  The sliced pieces of the fruit and posture of the pineapple skin are used to entice one to the interior space.
