Born in Dallas, Oregon, 1943, Mike Walsh holds a BFA from the University of Oregon, Eugene, 1972, a PC from Columbia University, New York, 1965, and a BS from Western Oregon University, Monmouth, 1965.  He received a project grant from Creative Time, New York, 2000, and a Regional Initiative Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Andy Warhol Foundation, 1996.
